Unemployment Insurance, commonly referred to as UI, is insurance paid for by employers that provides cash benefits for workers who are unemployed through no fault
of their own, who are able to work, available for work, and who are actively seeking work. If you are qualified for Unemployment Insurance,
you can get the information you need here at the One-Stop Career Center.
The Unemployment Insurance Program provides weekly unemployment insurance payments for workers who lose their job through no fault of
their own. Eligibility for benefits requires that the claimant be able to work, be seeking work, and be willing to accept a suitable job.
